    During my recent stay at Kathmandu Village House over Christmas, I was wonderfully surprised by its prime location in the heart of Thamel, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the bustling streets. The friendly owner and attentive staff truly enhanced our experience, remembering us even after our two-week trekking adventure, which added a personal touch I always cherish when traveling. Breakfast was a delightful routine, featuring a simple yet satisfying omelet with toast and a banana, perfect for fueling our daily explorations. I also appreciated the reliable housekeeping service, ensuring our rooms stayed tidy and welcoming throughout our stay. For fellow travelers seeking a warm atmosphere and a budget-friendly option in Kathmandu, I wholeheartedly recommend this gem.
